Robbie Williams by Alex

One famous person I would like to meet is Robbie Williams, an English singer. He was born on February 13, 1974, in Buslem, England. Peter, his father, was a comedian and Jan, his mother, was a florist.
William's career started when his mother saw an advertisement on a newspaper: a manager wa looking for some young singers because he wanted to form a boy band. Robbie contacted this manager, had an audition and was so allowed to join the new band because of his singing ability. Robbie William was the last member to enter Take That.

After leaving Take That, Robbie Williams became more popular when he started his solo career.

He made a lot of cd's, the last one was "Rudebox." For me the best cd of all his "Greatest Hits," released in 2004, with eight and half million copies worldwide.

Williams has won a large number of awards over the years.

In 2005, Robbie funded a soccer team, "L.A. Vale." He formed the club with other celebrity friends after building his own soccer pitch at his home in Los Angeles.

I do not know the things in common I have with Robbie Williams. I like his music and his dressing style.

If I had the possibility to meet Robbie, I would spend a long time speaking, taking photos, requesting autographs and other things more.

If I were Robbie... I don't know. I would just do what Robbie does... sing.

Angelina Jolie and Agustina

Angelina Jolie Voight was born in LA in 1975. She is one of the best paid actresses.

When she was 14, she wanted to be a model. However, when she starred in Gia, she realised that acting was in her blood. After that, she wordked in several movie and received an Oscar.

One thing I like about Angelina is her style of acting: her expressions seem real. She's also beautiful and charitable.

Although I've studied acting since I was very little, she is obviously a better actress than me (and more successful!).

If I could meet her, I'd feel very excited and really happy! I'd like to meet her family, too, and talk about her life, her relationship with her handsome husband -Brad Pitt- and her beautiful children.

He is more famous than me. He is more popular than me. He is a funnier actor than me. He is older than me. He is more sociable than me.

Vanessa Hudgens by Sofía

I have chosen Vanessa Hudgens because she is a great singer and actress.

Vanessa and I are very different girls. Fist of all she is more famous than me because a lot of people around the World know her. I think that I am better at playing sports than Vanessa because she didn’t play sports very well in the Disney Channel Games, but I am quite good at sports, especially volleyball.

Vanessa is a better singer than I, she is great at singing and she has a CD called “V”. She too is a better actress than I so she has acted in some films.

Vanessa is richer than me, she earns a lot of money whit her films.

Shakira and Flor

Shakira and I are very different in some ways. She was born in Barranquilla, Colombia, and I was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She is older than me, because she was born in 1977 and I was born in 1993. I am 13 years old, and I go to school, but when she was 13 years old, she wrote and sang a lot of songs. I love singing, but I sing horrible. Shakira’s voice is especial and I want to have her voice. I have got some of Shakira’s records. She is the best singer in Colombia, and in Argentina is a better singer than others.

I have never sung in public, and she has done some shows. I have never made an album, and she has made a lot.

Shakira is a very beautiful person, she is thinner than me, and she is more sympathetic and nicer than me. I love Shakira’s songs, Shakira’s albums and, I love Shakira, but, we are different.

Paula Abdul, My American Idol by Guadalupe

My name is Maria Guadalupe Castellanos, I’m 13 years old and the person I’ll be comparing myself to, is Paula Abdul.

Paula Julie Abdul was born on June, 19 in 1962, in San Fernando, California. Her older sister is Wendy, Lorraine is her mother and her father’s name is Harry. Paula started going to dance classes at the age of 4, and by the time she was 19 she was already the head of the cheerleaders’ team of the LA Lakers. Paula Abdul is now a professional dancer and choreographer, at the age of 27 she also released many albums driving lots of her hits to the Billboard number one for weeks, and appeared on some movies.

Nowadays she is the face of success in what concerns to the decades of 80`s and 90`s, the judge of TV reality show American idol, a business woman, jewelry designer, reality show “Hey Paula!” star, and the person I look forward to being like someday.

Paula Abdul and I have many things in common in the outside. Face shape, hair color, hazel eye color, dressing style, and I could keep saying, but if there’s a place where we really are alike, it’s in the inside.

Abdul has gone through a lot of hard things in her life and has been rejected many times, and although I am full of hope inside to make my dreams come true, I am scared I won’t make it because of the dance classes I have never had the chance of taking, but the fact of watching her live any situation with her head up, is what makes me grow stronger and stronger. Because that’s when I think, if a plane crash survivor who suffers of RSD (a cureless illness based on chronicle pains in the body from time to time, only calmed by painkillers) could make it…Why can’t I be completely healthy?

More things in common for example are that Paula and I are both the youngest in the family, that’s why we are so used to having people around all the time, and it’s so hard for us to be alone. We are also such positive people, I mean, we are not the kind of people who see the glass half empty, we see it half full. And when it’s raining, we don’t think there’ll be a storm, we know sun will come out and there will be a rainbow crossing the sky. I have never had the chance of meeting her face to face, but that’s what everybody says about her. Paula defines herself as “the girl whose number is on everybody’s cell phone” and I am the kind of person who could make friends in China, if I had the chance of being there, really friendly. If you have ever seen her in American Idol or an interview or something, you can see she is always spinning in her chair, or moving or something, she just can’t stay calm and never stops speaking, well, that’s me, if you saw me in class, there’s not another thing teachers do but shut me up the whole hour, and I just don’t get why they can speak and I don’t, but that’s me after all, or should I say “us”?

Another thing we have in common is who we are deeply in love with. Paula’s co-worker at American Idol is the most arrogant, the hardest, worst and most disgusting man in the world…but for our sleepy eyes, he’s a whole gentleman! I am sure you’ve heard about him, yes, I am talking about Simon Cowell, better known as Mr. Nasty, most of all by American Idol contestants who day by day find themselves being criticized by him, who plays the bad judge in the reality show.

I am a hard worker, I try to take care of everything that is in my hand, I am always looking for something better, and I like things my way. My free time, which is not that long, really, is totally dedicated to my two big loves, dancing and singing. I can spend hours and hours locked in my living room with loud music singing and improving my dance steps, inventing choreographies, copying Paula’s videos, and dreaming away that with each more hour I spend learning to dance, I become more like herself, a professional dancer.

If I ever met Paula Abdul…first of all I would be terribly shocked and excited. But of course, most of all I’d be happy. I’d tell her how much I admire her and everything that she means to me. Also, that I love her so much, and that my whole career is inspired on her. I’d ask her for being honest and telling me if she thinks I can make it someday, because her opinion would really mean too much.

If I were Paula, I’d probably be big headed, she is not that at all, but, thinking so much of myself I wouldn’t help but say “I’m the best”. However, I’d keep being friendly and kind, just like we both are. I’d probably confess my love to Simon, because I’m sure if I did, he would do the same.

I don’t personally know Paula at all. But I know lots of things about her; it seems we are old friends. One of my dreams in life is to get to know her someday, and share with her my passion for dancing, because I know she’ll understand. A great thing to know about her is how much she cares about her fans, and how much she thanks them for the support they give her. I support Paula Julie Abdul, and I’m faithful to everything that concerns her.

Barbra Streisand

One famous person I would really like to meet is Barbra Streisand, a fabulous singer!
Born in 1942, in Brooklyn, New York, her real name is Barbara Joan Streisand but she shortened it to Barbra to make it more distinctive.
She calls herself 'the actress who sings', but she is more than that: she is also a composer and a film director. This actress who sings has taken part in numerous comedies and musicals, and has performed live singing great songs to huge audiences. She is so talented that she has received 2 Oscars, 6 Emmys, 11 Golden Globes, 10 Grammys and a Tony.
What I like most about her is her magical voice. She sings better than anyone I know. In fact, people think she is one of the most amazing singers in the United States.
Although we both sang at school in a choir, her voice is far better than mine and she is obviously more talented. Another big difference is that she is much older than me and her distinctive nose is much larger than mine (luckily mine is not as big as hers!).
If I were lucky enough to meet her, I would like to sing one of her beautiful songs with her.
