Paul McCartney by Santiago

One famous person I would really like to meet is Paul McCartney, a fabulous singer!

Born in Walton, Liverpool, his parents were Jim McCartney and Mary Patricia. His brother was called Michael McCartney. For one of his birthdays, his father gave him a trumpet. But if he were a trumpeter, he wouldn't be able to sing, so he changed it for a guitar.

On June 6, 1957, Paul went with his friends to a meeting organized in the garden of St. Peter's church and there John Lennon played the guitar. Paul was impressed with that performance.

That night a friend of both introduced each other and John listened to Paul playing the guitar. A few days later Paul was part of the group Quarry Men. On March 13, 1958, George Harrison, a friend and schoolmate of Paul's, joined the group. ..

What I like most about him is his voice and the way he plays the bass. Besides, I think he is one of the best singers in England.

Although we both play the bass, his voice is far better than mine and he is obviously more talented! Of course, he is better at playing the bass and the guitar than me an he is richer, too.

If I were lucky enough to meet him, I would like to play the guitar and sing with him.
